Wireless Techologies

802.11
       - It is a wireless LAN that controls the transmission of user data into the physical layer
       Example
-                     WI-FI

Infrared
-       It is a region of electromagnetic radiation spectrum where wavelength range from about 700 nanometers to 1 millimeter

How infrared works?
-       By send out pulses of infrared light that represents specific binary codes.
Example
-       Smartphone, remote control

Bluetooth
-       It is a wireless technology that allow devices to communicate or to send data or voice, wirelessly over a short range distance

How Bluetooth works?
-       By communicate with each other using a radio signals and infrared light beams

Example
-       Connect to other mobile phone to send media

3G
