Action research is an action research that appears in the workshop materials we use at the institute for the study of inquiry in education

Usually use in education to improve the methods and approach of those involved

Advantage
1.     It can be performed by individual and any type of institution
2.     It can help improve education practice

Disadvantage
1.     Lack of time

2.     Validity in writing and presentation by the practitioner


Example of action research
1.     Observing individuals or group
2.     Using photography
3.     Distributing questionnaires and surveys



Cooperative inquiry

Involving two or more people researching a topic through their own experience of it

By using series of cycles which they move between this experience and reflecting together on it

Advantage
1.     Share knowledge
2.     More creative results

Disadvantage

1.     Lack of motivation
2.     Lack of public confidence
