- Created to protecting the integrity and usability your information and network.
- Network security can be in software or hardware technology.
- It targets variety any threats that lead to attack your computer system or from spreading on your    network.
 - It breaches occur every second worldwide

Advantages of network security
1.    Protect personal information of a client on the network.
2.    Protect information that has been share between network and computer.
3.    Prevent from cyber attacks.

Disadvantages of network security
1.    High cost to setup the network security
2.    Time consuming
3.    Requires skilled staff

Importance of network security
If there is no network security there would be a serious consequence for example theft of information, loss privacy and legal liability.

Adobe announced in October 2013 the massive hacking of its IT infrastructure. Personal information of 2.9 million accounts was stolen (logins, passwords, names, credit card numbers and expiration dates). Another file discovered on the internet later brought the number of accounts affected by the attack to 150 million (only 38 million active accounts). To access this information, the hackers took advantage of a security breach at the publisher, specifically related to security practices around passwords.
